MOBILITY: Check list Scholarship management The scholarship is jointly managed by the coordinator, University of Padua (Università degli Studi di Padova, Italy) and the European host university. The host university is in charge of the academic matters related to the scholarship and of the scholarship instalment. The payment of monthly allowances is due only on periods of study/research/work at the host university. The transfer of the scholarship is due by the host university on a regular basis according to the internal procedures of the host university. The PhD and Post-Doc grantees selected in the first call for applications must start their mobility before 31/12/2012. The PhD and Post-Doc grantees selected in the second call for applications must start their mobility before 31/12/2013. Staff mobility can take place in any time within the project duration, and must end before the closing of the project, on 14.07.2015. The duration of the stay at the host institution might be longer than the duration of the scholarship, depending on the study programme duration program (the Full PhD programme can be longer), but by no means the period of payment of the scholarship may exceed the maximum duration of the Project (14/07/2015) nor the date of awarding of the diploma (in case of Full Doctorate). ARTESS can finance up to a maximum of 34 monthly allowances for Full PhDs. The number of allowances is calculated on the basis of the starting date of mobility and corresponds to the total amount of months paid. The scholarship consists of : Subsistence allowance The European host university provides a subsistence allowance according to the type of mobility for the duration of the mobility grant: Doctorate (Sandwich & Full): 1.500 Euro per month
Post-doctorate: 1.800 Euro per month
Academic & Admnistrative Staff: 2.500 Euro per month
Insurance (accident, travel, health) The Coordination of the ARTESS Project will provide each grantee with an international insurance policy offering a full coverage fulfilling the minimum requirements of the Erasmus Mundus Programme. Other mandatory national insurances that might be needed in any of the European Hosting Countries covered by the Project. Travel costs Each grantee has the right to a round-trip Argentina-Europa-Argentina, for a maximum cost of 2.000 Euro. The prepaid ticket will be purchased by the European Host University (except for grantees travelling to Universidade de Coimbra: their ticket will be provided by the Coordination of the ARTESS Project). Other costs (visa, internal travels) will be reimbursed by the European host university after grantees arrival, provided that they hand in the original documents (invoices, tickets, boarding passes, etc.). Tuition fees For Full Doctorate mobilities the tuition fees will be covered by ARTESS Project. For Doctorate Sandwich and Post-doctorate mobilities European Hosting Universities will apply a fee waiver policy. For all and any matter which is not expressly governed by the provisions set forth in the Scholarship Agreement, the Administrative and Financial Handbook of the Erasmus Mundus Programme will apply. - contact the host university to agree the mobility period and start organizing mobility;
- apply for a VISA (Schengen VISA recommended);
- collect, fill in and sumbit all other documents required by the host university, if any;
- fill in and submit to the coordination the Learning Agreement/Academic Agreement:
After arrival in Europe: The grantee must meet the ARTESS contact person at the International Relations Office of the host university in order to: - register at the host university if not already done;
- submit the original boarding passes of the flights to Europe;
- receive information about registration in the host country according to the instructions given by the host university (residence permit or any other registration procedures);
- receive information about opening a bank account (this might not apply to Academic Staff).

The host university is in charge of providing and supporting the grantee with all practical information connected to the stay such as housing, city information, student services and facilities and all other useful information about mobility in the host country. During the period spent at the host university, the grantee must comply to the rules of this institution according to different levels. During the mobility

- fill out the Second part of the questionnaire on Quality (the link to the online questionnaire will be provided by ARTESS coordination or by Host institution) to monitor the organization of mobility;
